I decided to do some baking today. I made Fresh Apple Cookies from my favourite Best of Bridge The Best of The Best cookbook. Although they don't look the greatest, they are really yummy. I also made a loaf of bread. I do love the smell of bread cooking in the oven.

I love the smell of fresh baked bread too... sometimes I think the smell even more than the taste!
I'm so honoured to have one of the new chickens named after me. They look like lovely chooks - may they lay you many nice fresh eggs.
